History: Jade and her brother Shawn were born in Kyoto, Japan, to an American businessman and a small-town Japanese woman.
They moved to America when Jade was still an infant. Jade met Kari and Clay in high school, and subsequently had her memories
returned to her by Kari. Though she had not fully developed her own powers, Jade still played a crucial part in the binding
of the demon Matreiya-- and a slight animosity remains between the two. Jade has the unique powers of a Peacekeeper--
the ability to remove all hostility from an aggressor and, depending upon how much of her powers she uses, reduce them to a
simpering pile of love and fluff. Enrolled in martial arts since she was a child, Jade has become a master of the bo-staff
and uses this skill whenever she deems necessary. Currently in pursuit of her Masters in International Relations, Jade aims
to become a diplomat. At the start of the comic, Jade has been dating Michael for four months and remains Kari's closest friend.
